WGU is hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner educator in Utah to develop instructional materials and deliver virtual instruction aligned with course objectives. The role includes coaching students, facilitating online communities, and adapting teaching to individual needs.

Ideal candidates have an FNP background, current certification, and at least two years of FNP practice with experience mentoring NP students in online or hybrid formats. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with FNP focus
• FNP certification (AANP or ANCC)
• RN license (state of residence)
• Minimum 2 years as an FNP
• 2 years of FNP practice with NP students/precepting may count
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provides engaging one-to-many virtual events aligned with learning objectives.
• Keeps knowledge current through faculty development activities.
