Job summary

Broward College seeks a part-time instructor for Online AHCD English Communication. The position requires a Master’s degree in Communication, Mass Communication, or PR/Advertising (or Master’s with 18 credits in related fields); PhD preferred.

Prior college teaching is preferred and some evening/weekend hours may be required. Applicants must have strong computer literacy, ability to engage diverse learners, and a commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication, Mass Communication, or PR/Advertising, or Master’s with 18 sem. hrs in related field.
• PhD in Communication preferred.
• Prior college teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt feedback and maintain regular office hours.
• Adhere to deadlines for grading, enrollment verification, syllabi, and textbook adoption.
