Job summary

Broward College seeks a part-time instructor in North Academics English and Communication to teach Art History, Art, or Fine Art courses. The candidate must hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) and be able to teach in traditional and hybrid formats, supporting under-prepared students and maintaining required office hours.

Evening/weekend availability may be necessary. Strong computer literacy and commitment to student success are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art History, Art or Fine Art; or Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Art History, Art or Fine Art.
• Ph.D. preferred.
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
• Candidate must have high computer literacy and commitment to teaching.
• Willing to teach in both traditional face-to-face and blended (hybrid) formats.
• Special emphasis on helping under-prepared students achieve academic success.
• All schedules require office hours and may include evenings/weekends.
