• Ability to cover facility and conduct security rounds; respond to alarms or emergencies.
• Ability to lift packages or materials weighing 10 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Prepared to work different shifts and overtime hours on short notice.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow normal and emergency Guard Force Procedures and duty post assignments.
• Escort personnel and visitors around the facility and manage access badges.
• Patrol all areas of the building both interior and exterior; check for safety hazards and violations.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies by summoning appropriate personnel; document actions.
• Protect sensitive materials during security checks and maintain proper control.
• Maintain professional appearance and CCR-L security attire.
• Assist with unloading/loading of supplies or equipment and relocation of items within the complex.
• Perform receptionist duties using the visitor control system.
