• Reports To: Transportation Coordinator / School Principal
• F.T.E.: 0.5 FTE | Regular Part Time
• Salary: $21-$25 an hour
• Start Date: Spring 2025 or School Year 2025-2026

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time School Bus Driver who will play an important role in ensuring students arrive safely at school ready to learn and explore.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and drop off students along established routes.
• Transport students and staff to special events, such as field trips or sporting events.
• Provide route coverage and transportation support across schools when needed.
• Must be reasonably expected to travel long distances and remain seated in a behind-the-wheel position for extended periods.
• Maintain flexibility to work a split shift, including morning and afternoon routes and occasional trips in between.

Qualifications

• Certifications: CDL A or B required with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, plus a School Bus Permit (SBP).
• Strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and ability to pass a physical and DOT drug screening.
• A professional, reliable, and positive presence with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical ability to perform all required work.
