Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a Digital Radiologic Technician for Orthopedics to support our NE Portland and SW Beaverton locations. This on-call, part-time role involves performing high-quality digital X-rays, following ALARA safety, and assisting with CT/MRI as needed.

Ideal candidates have a certified Radiologic Technology program, Oregon license or eligibility, 1+ year of imaging experience, CPR/BLS, and familiarity with Epic EMR. This on-call position is not eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a certified Radiologic Technology program.
• Oregon license or license eligibility is required.
• Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience, digital radiography preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• EMR experience (Epic preferred) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality diagnostic digital X-rays per orders and protocols.
• Performs operations with ALARA safety and proper precautions.
• Operates imaging equipment with patient safety in mind.
• Reviews paperwork for completeness; requests pertinent studies.
• Scans forms and QA images into PACS for radiologist review.
• Explains exams and positions patients; assists with imaging procedures.
• Monitors patients and responds to distress as needed.
• Notifies management of deficits or equipment issues and calls service engineers.
• Assists in CT and MRI tasks, rooming patients, cleaning rooms, stocking supplies, loading injectors, and transferring images to EPIC/PPMC.
• Other duties as assigned.
