Job summary

River City Security & Investigations, LLC is seeking reliable Part-Time / On-Call Armed Security Officers to join our growing team in the Chattanooga, TN area. This role offers a flexible schedule and extra income.

Officers will cover open shifts, special events, and emergency call-outs as needed, with required armed guard licensure and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Applicants must meet TN license, age 21+, U.S.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a valid TN Armed Guard License
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED
• Must provide a background check and motor vehicle report upon hire
• Must submit to pre-employment and random drug testing
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong report writing and basic computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to self-manage

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor for suspicious activity
• Enforce site‑specific rules and procedures
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner

This role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible work schedule or supplemental income. Officers will be called upon to cover open shifts, special events, and emergency call‑outs on an as‑needed basis.

To remain active with the company, officers are required to work at least one (1) shift per month.
