Job summary

Connoisseur Media's Bay Area team is seeking a Part-Time On-Air Programming Personality to entertain and inform listeners on 96.5 KOIT (AC). You’ll voice track, host live shifts, and create local content that resonates with our community.

Based in the Bay Area, you’ll collaborate with programming and promotions, participate in remote broadcasts and events, and help grow digital content through social media while meeting station guidelines and schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have previous on-air radio experience.
• AFTRA membership or willingness to join AFTRA.
• Excellent voice, timing, and show preparation abilities.
• Ability to connect with listeners live and via voice tracking.
• Audio production and editing experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as fill-in talent for full-time air staff during vacations and absences.
• Voice track weekends on KOIT (approx. 5 hours per week).
• Host live on-air shifts that inform, entertain, and connect with listeners.
• Record and deliver engaging voice-tracked air shifts.
• Record and produce commercials, promos, and station imaging.
• Create memorable on-air content that is entertaining and local.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as fill-in talent for full-time air staff during vacations, sick days, and other absences on 96.5 KOIT (AC)
• Voice track weekends on 96.5 KOIT (approximately 5 hours per week).
• Host live on-air shifts that inform, entertain, and connect with listeners.
• Record and deliver engaging voice-tracked air shifts.
• Work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Record and produce commercials, promotional announcements, and station imaging.
• Create memorable on-air content that is entertaining, local, and relevant.
• Follow station formats, clocks, and programming guidelines.
• Operate broadcast automation, audio editing, and scheduling systems.
• Represent the station at remote broadcasts, community events, and promotional appearances.
• Support digital content efforts through social media and website contributions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be living in the Bay Area
• Must have previous on-air radio experience
• Strong communication, storytelling, and audience engagement skills.
• Must be an AFTRA member or be willing to join AFTRA
• Excellent voice, timing, and show preparation abilities.
• Ability to connect authenticly with listeners both live and through voice tracking.
• Audio production and editing experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A genuine passion for radio, Country music, entertainment, and local community involvement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle.
