Job summary

Connoisseur Media in the Bay Area is seeking a Part-Time On-Air Programming Personality to entertain listeners and create local engaging content.

You will voice track, host live shifts, produce promos, and represent the station at events, with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. This role requires living in the Bay Area and a passion for country music and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be living in the Bay Area.
• Previous on-air radio experience preferred.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and audience engagement skills.
• Excellent voice, timing, and show preparation abilities.
• Audio production and editing experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A genuine passion for radio, Country music, entertainment, and local community involvement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Voice track evenings on Bay Country 98.5/92.1(KBAY-FM) (approx. 5 hours/week).
• Host live on-air shifts that inform, entertain, and connect with listeners.
• Record and deliver engaging voice-tracked air shifts.
• Serve as fill-in talent for full-time air staff during vacations, sick days, and absences.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Record and produce commercials, promos, and imaging.
• Create memorable on-air content that is entertaining, local, and relevant.
• Follow station formats, clocks, and programming guidelines.
• Operate broadcast automation, audio editing, and scheduling systems.
• Represent the station at remote broadcasts, community events, and appearances.
• Support digital content efforts through social media and website contributions.
