Responsibilities

• Deliver newscasts; announce radio playlists; provide weather/traffic updates; share sport scores
• Comment on music and topics; may interview personalities and listeners
• Specialize in one music type; write/review/edit copy and PSAs
• Attend promotional events; operate control board for studios
• Possibly sell advertising space; regulate timing and syndicated programming
• Monitor broadcast quality; censor inappropriate content
• Handle emergency inserts and time-out programming; coordinate with Engineering
