Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an effective Occupational Therapy program.
• Review orders for Occupational Therapy; interview patients; evaluate patient’s condition.
• Custom splinting of the upper extremities.
• Develop a program of corrective exercise and treatment for assigned patients.
• Recommend modifications to patient programs based on progress and findings.
• Maintain department policies, procedures, objectives, and QA program.
• Ensure safety, infection control and environmental safety practices.
• Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
