Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Ohio seeks an Occupational Therapist for our Outpatient Clinic on a part-time basis (24 hours per pay). The role includes diagnostic evaluations and providing treatment to help patients reach maximum independence in daily living and community activities.

Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain Ohio licensure, and follow department policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program with bachelor's degree or master's degree.
• Current Ohio OT license to practice in Ohio.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients.
• Coordinates participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational activities.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to align activities with patient needs.
• Teaches skills required for therapeutic activities and evaluates progress.
• Maintains safety, infection control and quality improvement practices.
