Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to join the team at St. Mary's Acute.

This role is three 8-hour days per week and focuses on evaluating patients, designing individualized OT plans, and supporting functional independence. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and participate in discharge planning while upholding state licensure and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing.
• Possesses and maintains BLS certification.
• Munson Location Specific: Current American Heart Association BLS Course for Healthcare Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification or registration as required by law and regulation.
• Evaluates patient condition and establishes treatment goals in collaboration with patient and family and the treatment team.
• Evaluates equipment needs and orders appropriate equipment; trains patient and family on its use.
• Documents patient status and progress through evaluation, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participates in discharge planning and communicates with patient, family and community supports.
