Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. seeks a Registered Occupational Therapist in Wiggins, MS, to provide rehabilitation therapy to patients of all ages. Responsibility includes evaluating patients, planning therapy programs, and documenting progress under supervision of a Clinical Director.

Requires licensure eligibility and ABOTA certification. Part-time position with opportunity to contribute to stress management and functional improvement.

Qualificações

• Must have completed an OT curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the Alabama Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Certified by the American Board of Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients referred to Occupational Therapy to determine current status and potential benefit.
• Plan therapy programs for in-patients, out-patients, extended care center patients and stress management patients.
• Evaluate, record, and report patients progress for review by the rehabilitation team.
• Prepare and fit splints for upper and lower extremities as ordered.
• Requisition supplies and equipment; ensure safety of the department.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Formação académica

Occupational Therapy degree

Licensed by Alabama Board of Occupational Therapy or eligible

Certified by the American Board of Certification
