Job summary

Workcare is seeking a part-time Occupational Health Nurse for our Montgomery, IL onsite clinic. You will deliver comprehensive occupational medicine services to employees and lead preventive care efforts while coordinating medical compliance exams.

The role features a 27-hour work week (3 days, 7:00am–4:30pm) with a focus on safety, wellbeing, and rapid response to workplace health needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Illinois RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred.
• 3 years' experience in the management of occupational services preferred.
• COHN-S and CCM certification preferred.
• CPR, AED, and BBP certification required.
• Instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Medicine Services to Company employees, including the integration of the full spectrum of health services programs.
• Provide Injury/ illness/ incident medical care and reporting per site protocols.
• Coordinate and fulfillment of required medical compliance exams (e.g., pre-placement, customer required, medical surveillance).
• Provide absence management services to employees who are out of work on either personal or work-related disability, including return to work and transitional return to work program management.
• Utilize site's transitional work programs.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety team to provide training and support for medical emergency response.
• Support Health and Wellbeing goals and initiatives.
• Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of Client Operations.
