Qualifications

• Active nursing license and ANCC or AANP board certification required.
• Independent practice provider preferred, per state regulation.
• Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Independent family practice experience including wellness, chronic care management, and urgent visits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational health screenings and medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Interpret spirometry results and provide EKG initial interpretation.
• Manage work injuries, including exposures, musculoskeletal injuries, suturing, and eye/body foreign object removal.
• Collaborate with employers on illness/injury policies and workers’ compensation case management.
• Assess fitness for duty and participate in DOT examinations if applicable.
