Job summary

The role includes conducting history and physicals, evaluating work capacity, advising on accommodations, supporting workers’ compensation processes, and collaborating with the Clinic Administrator to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and/or licensure to work as NP/PA.
• FMCSA certified for DOT exams (to gain certification within 90 days of hire).
• Active full DEA license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making in a changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and EMR documentation.
• Customer service focus with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare to patients in clinic and via tele-medicine according to clinical practice and organizational goals.
• Consults medical director for management and treatment plans when needed.
• Performs full history and physical exams to determine capacity for job functions.
• Provide medical opinion on accommodations to safely perform duties.
• Participates in workers’ compensation processes as requested.
• Evaluate and manage occupational injuries and related conditions.
• Maintain OSHA awareness and ensure compliant patient care.
• Communicate with employers after visits to review treatment and work capacity.
