Job summary

Swedish Health Services seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist to join a newly developed program in Issaquah, Washington. The role supports Swedish Medical Group clinicians, community physicians, and unassigned patients with a 0.5 FTE schedule across 75 shifts per year.

The hospitalist will attend deliveries, perform OB ED evaluations, monitor fetal status, assist in surgeries, and provide midwife backup and ED coverage for OB-GYN patients.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist
• Willingness to provide obstetrics and gynecology care in a hospital setting
• Comfort with emergent gynecologic surgeries and OB/GYN patient load

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and provide OB ED evaluation and treatment
• Monitor fetal status and perform fetal monitoring
• Assist in surgeries and provide midwife backup
• Cover ED OB-GYN patients and ensure cross-cover for assigned team
