Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in Silvis, Illinois seeks an experienced BC/BE OB/GYN to join our OB/GYN Hospitalist program. This part-time employed role offers a flexible schedule with 24-hour in-house shifts, caring for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department.

You’ll manage unassigned patients, transfers from regional hospitals, and after-hours coverage for the local practice, supported by a dedicated robotic surgical suite and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure and US prescribing authority.
• US work eligibility (J-1 and H-1B welcome).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in Labor & Delivery and ED.
• Manage unassigned patients and transfers from regional hospitals.
• Offer after-hours OB/GYN coverage for the local practice.
• Participate in 24-hour in-house hospitalist shifts as part-time coverage.
