Job summary

MercyOneGenesis is seeking an experienced BC/BE OB/GYN to join its OB/GYN Hospitalist service in Silvis, IL. This full-time employed opportunity includes seven 24-hour shifts per month with flexible schedules, and involvement in ER and labor & delivery care, plus transfers from smaller regional hospitals.

Compensation includes a $400,000 annual salary with additional shift-based pay, a $150,000 commencement bonus, relocation up to $15,000, CME allowance, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO and be BE/BC in OB/GYN.
• Must obtain and hold an unrestricted Illinois license.
• Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for OB/GYN emergencies in ER and Labor & Delivery.
• Care for unassigned patients and accept/manage transfers from smaller hospitals in the region.
• Provide after-hours call for OB/GYN practice.
• Utilize dedicated surgical suite with access to robotics.
• Support an average of ~600 births per year.
• Work in a Level II Nursery with 16 LDRP rooms.
