Job summary

NorthWest Senior and Disability Services (NWSDS) is seeking a part-time Nutrition Site Coordinator (Substitute) in Warrenton, OR to coordinate congregate meal sites and support home-delivered meals. The role requires promoting health, engaging participants, and coordinating volunteers.

The position reports to the Program Manager, is non-exempt, and pays starting at $18.15 per hour with pay placement based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalency required.
• 1 year of experience coordinating community programs and working with volunteers.
• Food Handler’s Permit required or ability to obtain before hire.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain driving record.
• Background check required; certain positions may need fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of congregate meal sites and support home-delivered meal services.
• Ensure food handling, preparation, and service meet health and sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate meal counts, participant records, and required program documentation.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers; ensure compliance with program and safety requirements.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment and promote social engagement.
• Conduct outreach and collaborate with community partners to support program goals.
• Deliver meals as needed and assist with participant assessments and communication.
• Follow policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandatory reporting obligations.
