Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant at Sunrise Park Education Center in White Bear Lake, MN. The 3.75-hour shift runs 9:45am–1:45pm, Monday through school days, supporting breakfast, lunch and snack service for students.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. Starting wage is $20.78/hour with potential increases for certification. Join a friendly Nutrition Services team and enjoy daytime hours in a school setting.

Qualifications

• No experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Fast-paced environment serving breakfast, lunch and snacks in accordance with the menu.
• Set up serving line, condiments, utensils, etc.
• Serve students and run point of sale register during meal service.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen, operate the dish machine.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service to students, staff, parents, visitors and the general public.
• Position may float on a case-by-case basis to help with staff coverage at other locations throughout the district.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Food safety: sanitation training required upon hire and every 3 years.
