Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant at Sunrise Park Education Center. The role supports early childhood and transition education programs with meal preparation, serving, and POS operations in a friendly, community-focused school setting.

The position offers daytime hours (9:45am–1:45pm), opportunities for wage increases with certifications, and paid training. No prior experience required, just a positive, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• 3.75 hours per day (9:45am–1:45pm) with a 15‑minute unpaid break.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced school nutrition environment.

Responsibilities

• Fast-paced environment working to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and snacks in accordance with the menu.
• Set up serving line, condiments, utensils, etc.
• Serve students and run the point of sale register during meal service.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen and operate the dishwasher.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service to students, staff, parents, visitors and the public.
• Position may float to help with staff coverage at other locations in the district.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
