Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support nutritional operations in New Lenox. The role covers cafeteria duties, patient trayline, and related services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to sanitation guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a High School level education, a Food Handler certificate (within 30 days), and are willing to work in a part-time capacity across various shifts.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High School or equivalent preferred or currently attending High School.
• Food Handler certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Entry level or food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and efficient on all trained positions in cafeteria; patient trayline; patient services area; call center; and dishroom.
• Follows sanitation guidelines and maintains sanitation standards.
• Restocks inventory per par levels including coolers and trays; cleans work areas and promotes a safe environment.
