Job summary

Mounds View Public Schools seeks a Nutrition Service Employee to join our district kitchen team. You will help assemble ingredients, assist with meal prep and service, and maintain clean work areas to support safe, nutritious meals for students.

The role includes setting up serving lines, aiding with packaging for distribution, and following safety guidelines. Start ASAP with Monday–Friday work schedule, and benefits per the Nutrition Services agreement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• SNA Level I certification within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to follow clean and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food supplies and measure ingredients for meals.
• Assist with meal preparation and packaging for shipping to locations.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and service areas; wash dishes and utensils.
• Set up serving line and assist customers with meals.
• Assist with sandwiches, desserts, salads and other items.
• Serve food to customers and support kitchen operations as needed.
• Attend trainings and workshops for ongoing professional growth.
