Job summary

The University of Louisville School of Nursing invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions in the Owensboro, Kentucky location. Candidates must hold a BSN to teach in the BSN clinical setting; MSN is preferred and may be required for didactic teaching. A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience and an active KY RN license are essential.

Prior teaching experience is a plus. Instructors will participate in orientation, develop course materials, deliver engaging learning

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) to apply for clinical teaching in BSN program.
• MSN is preferred; MSN is required for didactic teaching in the BSN program.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience.
• An unencumbered RN license to practice nursing in Kentucky.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver course content for BSN program courses in Owensboro.
• Provide developmentally meaningful feedback to students and assess learning outcomes.
• Coordinate with course chair and clinical coordinators to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Attend orientation and trainings, manage course syllabi, and submit final grades on time.
• In clinical instructor roles, supervise student clinical experiences and communicate progress with the clinical coordinator.
