Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in nursing degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining clinical competence in the area(s) being taught.
• Completing required clock hours of contracted clinical work per week.
• Attending Orientation on campus annually.
• Attending clinical meetings on campus as scheduled.
• Arranging orientation for students at the assigned clinical facility.
• Adhering to course and clinical policies as defined by the BSN Handbook and Clinical Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
• Holding clinical briefs, huddles, and de-briefs with students.
• Evaluating clinical assignments and returning graded work promptly.
• Providing input on student performance and remediation planning with the Course Coordinator.
• Maintaining communication with the Course Coordinator, including weekly progress updates.
• Completing the clinical evaluation tool and guiding students through midterm self-evaluations.
• Evaluating clinical sites using the Clinical Evaluation Site form.
