Job summary

Northeastern University, Charlotte campus, seeks part-time Lecturer to teach online and at clinical sites for our nursing programs, across Adult Medical/Surgical, Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatric, and Psychiatric Nursing.

Responsibilities include preparing lectures and course materials, evaluating student performance, and collaborating with Course Lead Faculty and clinical coordinators. Start dates: May, September, and January.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate healthcare-related discipline or Nursing.
• Significant college teaching experience in higher education.
• Unrestricted RN licensure (for clinical instruction in NC).

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for student learning at clinical sites.
• Assess and evaluate student performance in clinical and didactic courses.
• Collaborate with course coordinators and Course Lead Faculty to prepare students for practice.
• Prepare lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluations for didactic instruction.
• Hold weekly office hours.
