Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking part-time faculty to teach theoretical courses in the School of Nursing (Burlington campus). Positions coverAdult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Responsibilities include preparing lectures, materials, exams, and evaluating student performance.

May work under lead faculty and maintain office hours as appropriate. Salary pays per credit at $2085.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• At least two years of relevant professional nursing experience within the last five years.
• Competence appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluate student performance in the course.
• Part-time faculty may work under the direction of the lead faculty for the course and will hold office hours as appropriate.
