Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Kokomo, IN seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach nursing courses on a part-time, per-semester basis. You will create and deliver instruction, follow course syllabi, assess student learning, and maintain attendance and grades using Ivy Learn and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate holds at least a Master's degree (Nursing preferred), is a licensed Indiana RN with a minimum of two years of clinical experience, and can support diverse learners while adhering to

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies relevant to nursing instruction.
• Faculty credentials per ASOM 7.1 as applicable to the area of instruction.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Possesses a current, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
• Master's degree in nursing or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned nursing classes.
• Provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) and follow content requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside class time to answer questions.
• Meet all scheduled classes and use Ivy Learn/PowerPoint as appropriate.
• Notify department chair in case of emergency absence.
• Promote diversity and inclusive practices as part of work.
• Submit requested information within established timelines.
