Qualifications

Completion of an accredited professional nursing education program.
A current, active, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in South Carolina or multi-state privilege to practice in South Carolina.
A master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
Previous teaching experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills.
Excellent teaching and classroom management skills.
Functional abilities to carry out classroom, clinical, and laboratory teaching responsibilities.
Competence in clinical skills in areas of teaching.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email.

Responsibilities

Teach nursing courses in classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings.
Develop learning activities to meet program outcomes using varied teaching methods.
Plan curricula and assessments in alignment with standards and policies.
Participate in program evaluation and ongoing professional development.
