Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking dynamic Part‑Time Adjunct Nursing Instructors to teach within the Nursing program at our Moorhead campus. No prior teaching experience is required; training is provided and instructors may teach on campus or at off-site partner locations.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Nursing, 1 year of RN clinical experience (2+ preferred), active RN licensure, official transcripts, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• 1-year clinical experience as an RN required; 2+ years preferred.
• Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Active CPR certification administered by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, immunization documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing courses: lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum as assigned. These courses may be on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations.
• Use effective teaching strategies and multiple teaching techniques; create an environment conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
• Create high levels of student engagement through activities, community building, and student-centered learning including live classroom tools for synchronous sessions.
