Job summary

Seattle University College of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty to teach at the BSN through DNP levels. Applications are accepted year-round with openings in medical-surgical, reproductive health, pediatric, psychiatric/mental health, population health, and geriatric nursing.

Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree plus two years of clinical experience, RN licensure in Washington, and ARNP credentials for graduate teaching in systems leadership

Qualifications

• A master’s degree plus two years of clinical experience, with at least one year in the specialty is preferred for all faculty positions; however, applicants with a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a minimum of three years of experience in the specialty will be considered for prelicensure courses only.
• Applicants should hold an unencumbered license to practice Washington State as a Registered Nurse.
• Advanced practice faculty must also hold WA State licensure as an ARNP and have two years of experience in practice as an ARNP.

Responsibilities

• Teach at BSN through DNP levels in a variety of specialties.
• Possibly teach clinically in medical-surgical, reproductive health, pediatric, psychiatric/mental health, population health, and geriatric nursing.
• Contribute to equity and inclusion and support the university mission.
