Job summary
Success Education Colleges is seeking a Nursing Faculty – Instructor for the Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing (MFSON) in Las Vegas, NV. The instructor coordinates, plans, prepares, presents, and evaluates program instruction and reports directly to the Dean of Nursing.
Faculty must meet Nevada Board of Nursing requirements and follow MFSON policies. Duties include clinical teaching, grading, office hours, and active participation in department and college activities to support the college mission.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Nevada.
- Master’s degree with a major in nursing from an accredited school OR Bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing and a master’s or doctoral degree in a field related to nursing.
- Three years of experience as a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, prepare, present, and evaluate nursing instruction.
- Maintain accurate evaluation records and administer coursework assessments.
- Schedule regular office hours and provide student guidance.
- Adhere to MFSON and Nevada Board of Nursing requirements.
- Represent MFSON and SEC to external agencies and clinical facilities.
- Contribute to department and college activities and curriculum development.
