2+ years nursing practice as a registered nurse within the last five years is required.
Professional communication and prudent judgment are essential.
Licensure as a professional nurse in the practicing state is required.

Responsibilities

Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
Makes self‑available to staff at the agencies.
Evaluates and provides feedback to students based on course objectives.
Provides remediation of students as required or needed.
Maintains current knowledge of agency policies and expectations.
Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with learning needs.
Corrects and returns homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical paperwork timely.
Contributes to program development, implementation, and evaluation.
May teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator.
Keeps course coordinator informed of student and agency issues.
Collaborates with staff and faculty to improve operations and satisfaction.
Participates in assessment programs, retention efforts, and campus policies.
Serves as a professional role model for customers and colleagues.
Uses relationship skills for group problem solving and consensus building.
Complies with all regulatory rules and standards.
Reports to dean or assistant dean; course coordinator provides oversight.
Performs other duties as assigned.
