Job summary

Brady Methodist Church is seeking a Nursery Supervisor to coordinate nursery workers and care for children in the nursery. This is a part-time, hourly position with duties including diapering, safety, and maintaining a clean, stocked nursery environment.

The role requires a committed Christian, ability to work with children and infants, good communication, and passing a background check with Ministry Safe trainings. CPR certification must be kept current and staff policy adherence is essential.

• Committed Christian.
• Ability to work with children and infants.
• Good communication skills and a pleasant personality.
• Pass background check and complete all required Ministry Safe Trainings
• Maintain current CPR training for infants/children

Responsibilities

• Provide care and safety for the children in the nursery. Includes changing diapers and toileting assistance as needed per policy book
• Alert parents immediately in case of emergency
• Be in the nursery before the first child arrives and remain until the last child leaves.
• Maintain care and cleanliness of toys and facilities to provide a safe environment.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and inform the church office of needed supplies.
• Secure additional Ministry Safe certified nursery workers as needed events.
• Maintain current CPR training for infants/children
• Have clear understanding and implementationofBMC Children's Ministry Policy and/or BMC Students Ministry Policy
