Mercy Hospital South is seeking a nurse tech to assist in the individualized care of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. You will work as part of a cohesive team, performing clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks essential to patient care.

The role requires enrollment in an approved nursing program, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to maintaining good standing with the school. BLS certification is expected within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an approved nursing program and ongoing coursework.
• Transcripts showing completion of Fundamentals of Nursing and a competency skills list.
• Maintain good standing with the school of nursing while in this role.
