Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to service a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey. The NP will act as primary care provider, perform exams, take histories, and collaborate with physicians and nursing home staff to deliver high-quality care. Applicants must be board certified.

Hospital setting experience is preferred. Extensive training will be offered, and commitment to respectful, professional care aligned with the organization’s values

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary care provider to long- and short-term residents.
• Collaborate with medical attending/physician and nursing home staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Educate residents and families and formulate evidence-based care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local requirements and advise management on needed actions.
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education and professional involvement.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and uphold organizational core values.
• Review and ensure timely and accurate charting, documentation, and administration of care.
