Position Information
Position Title: Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Medical Staff
Work Location: Springfield Campus
Department: Magers Family Health and Wellness Center
Pay Grade: Unclassified
Proposed Salary: $60.00/hour
General Function: The NP or PA, Medical Staff provides quality health care for the university community in an out-patient, clinic type setting located in the Magers Health and Wellness Center. This position requires the ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat common problems presenting to an immediate care clinic. The care clinic is a fast-paced service meeting the needs of the Missouri State University community, serving clients from age 6 and older, with the majority being college-age students and older. We are looking for a team member who has direct patient care experience with an emphasis on family medicine/primary care.
Description of Primary Duties:
Need: Providing care 1-2 days a week within the immediate care clinic at Magers Health and Wellness Center on Missouri State University Campus.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
Licensure: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed in the State of Missouri. Current registration with US DEA and Missouri controlled substance registration (BNDD).
Experience: Direct patient care with an emphasis on family medicine/primary care is preferred.
Skills: The ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat common problems presenting to an immediate care clinic.
