Job summary

Working under the program director, the role coordinates scheduling of clinicals and state examinations, supporting workforce readiness and professional patient care practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Texas LVN or RN license required.
• 1+ year of experience in a long-term care facility.
• ADN preferred.
• Proficiency with instructional technology/Blackboard LMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction aligned with approved curriculum.
• Supervise students in clinical settings at long-term care facilities.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that support student learning outcomes.
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, skills check-offs, and observations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Collaborate with the program director on scheduling, clinical coordination, and student success.
• Prepare students for the state nurse aide certification examination.
• Complete required professional development, including training in adult learning principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
