Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist for a part-time role in Medical Imaging Services at the Main Campus. You will perform quality diagnostic imaging on patients of all ages using the Philips SkyLight gamma camera and related equipment, while preparing radiopharmaceutical doses and maintaining quality control records under Ohio/NRC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma is the minimum education requirement.
• Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program or enrolled in a multi-modality program with board certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; one must be completed within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality diagnostic exams on patients of all ages using the Philips SkyLight gamma camera and related equipment.
• Prepare radiopharmaceutical doses and maintain quality control records.
• Educate patients and parents regarding procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation with other technologists.
