Job summary

NAVIX Diagnostix, Inc. in Neptune, NJ seeks an experienced Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role (two days per week, ~16 hours). You will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure imaging quality with strict safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Active nuclear medicine certification through ARRT(N) or CNMT.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of EKG recognition and cardiac stress testing.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures per NAVIX and client-site protocols.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals, calculate doses, and administer radioisotopes.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and position patients for diagnostic studies.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and clean nuclear medicine equipment per protocols.
• Perform camera quality control and dose calibrator measurements.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
