Job summary

BAART Treatment Centers in Chandler, AZ is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support methadone and buprenorphine treatment in our outpatient program. You will perform histories, physicals, document in the EMR, and help manage dosing under medical direction.

Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and counselors, you will monitor dosages, ensure patient safety, and support recovery from opioid use disorder.

Qualifications

• AZ licensure as NP or PA in good standing.
• 6 months of addiction medicine/MAT experience required.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
• Obtain history and perform physical examinations.
• Document into the EMR and write prescriptions for methadone/buprenorphine as directed.
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy.
• Monitor patient dosages in coordination with the Medical Director and team.
• Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
