Job summary

BayMark Health Services in Sun Valley, CA seeks a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient MAT program. Schedule is 9 hours per week, within 7:00 am to Noon, on-site.

The role involves admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment, performing history and physical exams, documenting in EMR, and supervising dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy under supervision of the Medical Director.

Qualifications

• CA license required
• 1 year MAT/addiction medicine experience
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment
• Obtain history and perform physical examination
• Document into EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing, and write buprenorphine prescriptions
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy in Medical Director’s absence
• Monitor patient dosages in conjunction with Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor
