Responsibilities

• Greet all customers courteously and with a smile
• Increase personal sales by meeting goals and following Scheels' sales standards
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
• Assist customers in making purchasing decisions through engaging conversation
• Demonstrate passion for our products
• Attend all product training sessions and store meetings
• Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
• Assist with freight and stocking as needed
• Perform basic math and interpret data like bar graphs
• Read and understand instructions, communicate effectively in writing and speech
• Show strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate ability to demonstrate product usage and retrieve products from heights over 6 ft

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 months of sales experience is a plus.

Compensation

Starting at $12/hour plus commission.

Physical & Lifting Requirements

Able to sit, stand, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear. Capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.

Follow all safety procedures to minimize injury risk.

Schedule

Flexible hours between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. Must be available for at least three weekends per month. Average 20-25 hours per week.
