Job summary

Mercy is seeking a part-time LPN for the Cardiac Unit nights, 12 hours per week. The ideal candidate will provide patient-focused care using the nursing process, under supervision by licensed personnel, and participate in a collaborative care team with educators, PCA/PCTs, and other specialists.

Certification in ACLS/BLS/PALS may be required depending on unit needs. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited practical nursing program and maintain an active LPN license in the hiring state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Maintain current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) may be required based on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Adheres to Mercy Service Standards and clinical policies.
