Job summary

Mercy is seeking an LPN to join the Cardiac Unit on a part-time nights schedule (12 hours per week). The unit serves general cardiac needs, including pre/post procedures, dysrhythmias and vascular care, with a collaborative team including educators, PCA/PCTs, Case Managers, respiratory therapists, dietitians, PT/OT and speech therapists.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license in the hiring state.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Coordinate patient care with educators, PCA/PCTs, Case Managers, therapists and dietitians.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality according to Mercy standards.
