Part Time Nights and Weekend Customer Experience Manager

Join us to apply for the Part Time Nights and Weekend Customer Experience Manager role at Michaels Stores.

Location: Store - BALT-WHITEMARSH, MD

Deliver a customer-centric shopping experience by managing front-end operations, leading omnichannel processes, maintaining store recovery standards, and providing friendly customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist Store Manager in adhering to SOPs and company policies, ensuring legal compliance and store standards.
  2. Follow front end policies, meet KPIs, and manage team performance.
  3. Plan and execute in-store events and classes.
  4. Lead omnichannel initiatives.
  5. Manage shrink, safety, and inventory processes, including RTV and ASN activities.
  6. Support onboarding and training of new team members.
  7. Coach and develop the customer experience team, participate in performance management, and support talent development.
  8. Serve as Manager on Duty.
  9. Promote a positive, respectful environment and model organizational values.
  10. Assist customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  11. Participate in truck unloading and stocking, ensuring standards and budgets are met.
  12. Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
  13. In stores without a Framing Manager, lead high-quality custom framing delivery, planning and managing workload in partnership with the Store Manager.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Retail management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Work includes nights, weekends, early mornings, and some outdoor activities.
