Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• AHA/Red Cross Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to the patient according to the plan of care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Serve as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation, in person or via video monitoring.
• Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Document care provided in the electronic medical record.
