Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a part-time night-shift housekeeper to keep a clean and safe hospital environment by following standard cleaning procedures. You will service patient and non-patient areas, perform surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and move equipment as needed.

Previous janitorial experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalen t is preferred. The role requires good communication with the health care team and the ability to work nights.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate housekeeping chemicals safely.
• Ability to work nights in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean patient rooms and discharge units to meet hospital standards.
• Maintain clean office/ancillary areas and assist with quality control audits.
• Move equipment, replenish supplies, and report repair needs as required.
